She Came In Looking For A Dress. She Left Singing.

She was a young single mother living in a shelter, carrying more than anyone should have to carry, and all she wanted was something to wear to her school choir concert. That's it. One dress. One night to feel normal.

We found her the perfect one. And then we kept going — pulling together outfits for her, things for her son, the kind of care that says you matter here, not just your need. When we finished, she looked at us with tears in her eyes and sang. Right there in the middle of everything, a piece of her choir song, unrehearsed and unashamed. Pure joy pouring out of someone who hadn't had much reason to feel it lately.

We were undone.
