A small gift can change a life

In the first year alone...

• At Christmas, because of generous monetary donations from people like you, 15 social workers were able to shop for new toys and books for over 200 local children in the foster care system.

• Over 100 children were supplied with beds...some who had never had a bed of their own. This was all due to the generosity of people like you. 

• We collected over 80 prom dresses and held a shopping event for local teens in foster care. 

• We supplied a teen working towards his GED with a desk. 

• A great aunt who was apprehensive about fostering her newborn great-niece was calmed by RISE supplying all the necessary items including a crib, car seat, diapers, clothing and toiletries. 

• New foster parents have received the beds they need in order to say yes to placement calls and offer a child a home. 

• We have supported several biological parents who have done the hard work to be reunified but still had large material needs such as beds and mattresses in order to have their children back in their home. 

• Working alongside Finally Family, we have provided a steady supply of toiletries for aged out foster teens.
